In order to eliminate confusion over the proper assembly of the whip hose, please review the procedure below. The whip hose is designed to be installed in a helix configuration. By installing the hose in the helix configuration the flexibility of the hose will be increased by up to 60%. An increase in hose flexibility provides the following benefits:

  • • Easier to maneuver the gun
  • • Greater range of spraying motion
  • • Easier to reach tight areas and spray at odd angles
  • • Reduced operator fatigue
  • • Increase in hose life

  • Assembly Procedure:

Tighten fittings to A and B component hoses. Ensure the hose remains flat after fittings are tightened. Loosen and re-tighten fittings as necessary to eliminate any torque on the hoses. This will help achieve a flat profile on the hose assembly. Refer to instruction manual 309572 for more information.
