2/28 Update: Graco's purchase of GlasCraft, Inc. has been completed.

Graco-GlasCraft Sale Completion Update


Graco, Inc. recently announced their acquisition of GlasCraft, Inc. and its parent company Cohesant.


GlasCraft is a 50 year old manufacturer and distributor of equipment for the Composites/ FRP, high performance coatings and polyurethane foam industries.


Graco immediately stressed how the objective of the merger is ultimately to improve the quality of products for end users.


Graco’s President and Chief Executive Officer Patrick J. McHale said in a December 3, 2007 press release, “GlasCraft is a well respected company we have been interested in acquiring for several years. GlasCraft’s products, brands, and engineering capabilities highly complement Graco’s core businesses, creating an opportunity to leverage each company’s unique strengths….”
