PDA To Host 2008 Mid-Year Meeting

“Polyurea & Concrete: Working Together”

Kansas City, MO: July 9, 2008 — Polyurea Development Association (PDA) will host its Mid-Year Meeting August 27, 2008, at the Embassy Suites – Plaza – Kansas City, MO. The conference theme, “Polyurea & Concrete: Working Together,” will be put into action as attendees of the one-day meeting learn about the role that polyurea technology is taking in concrete.

The meeting will open with two job profiles both focusing on concrete and the versatility of polyurea, followed by a presentation linking polyurea and “green” building. A panel discussion, led by architects and engineers, will explain the criteria and what they look for in high tech coatings and the best way to communicate with an Architect/Engineer. The meeting will conclude with a business presentation on how to market your company internationally.

NEW THIS YEAR: Architects and Engineers are invited to a seminar for a crash course in polyurea. Attendees will learn an in-depth analysis of physical properties, testing procedures, surface preparations, application procedures, techniques and advances in and types of equipment used with polyurea. Architects and Engineers are invited to attend this seminar FREE OF CHARGE and have the opportunity to join the PDA in a networking reception immediately following.

This course will also offer PDH and AIA credits for the attendees.

PDA is the only association in the world formed specifically to address the awareness and education of polyurea technologies and its use. Members include contractors, formulators, material suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and specifiers who seek to expand the business of polyurea.
