Graco Inc. introduces the Reactor® E-8p Portable Plural-Component Sprayer, the first system designed specifically for new no-heat polyurethane foam formulations. The compact, portable foam sprayer produces a proven air-seal solution that’s in demand by homeowners who want to improve the energy-efficiency of their homes.

“Homeowners are looking for ways to cut energy costs,” said Graco’s Adam Schroll, Industry Marketing Manager, High-Performance Coatings and Foam. “Proper sealing and insulating is a long-term, cost-effective way to make their homes more energy-efficient. With more than 86 million existing homes in North America that require better insulation, this is a great opportunity for contractors to build their business.”

The Reactor E-8p offers a good return on investment for contractors, as many small projects that are ordinarily completed with froth kits can now be accomplished more economically with the Reactor E-8p and no-heat polyurethane foams. Froth kits can cost up to three times that of five-gallon pails of no-heat foam polyurethane materials.

Typical applications for the Reactor E-8p include: adding foam insulation in attics to create an air barrier under blown-in insulation, or sealing and insulating rim joists, as well as any small foam project where a portable system is required.
