A-1 Automation Finds Reliability and Better Results with Diamond Liners Inc.

A-1 Automation has been in the business 40 years and manufactures vibratory feeders that are designed to separate parts into smaller containers faster than hand counting normally would, or feed parts into other machines that perform secondary operations such as thread rolling or machining. Prior to learning about Diamond Liners, A-1 had been using a sprayed on urethane product from another vendor. However they became dissatisfied with the long turnaround time and poor quality for the spray jobs that never did come out “exactly right”.

The client learned about Diamond Liners while researching online local companies that could provide liner material as insulation to stop the wear on the inside of the vibratory feeder bowls. Diamond Liners used a standard Hybrid Polyurethane/Polyurea coating (the same as used in their bed liners), applied with a Fusion MP spray gun following sandblasting, cleaning, and priming, to accomplish this. The new coating does not scratch, the parts do not get damaged and, much to A-1’s satisfaction, the job is done quickly.
